STYLNEM is a nitrogenous organic fertilizer characterized by a totally vegetal matrix. In addition to providing organic substance, it contains substances capable of containing the development of soil insects. The organic matrix of this product is distinguished by the presence of selected plant cakes belonging to Brassica spp. In protein terms, cakes are the noblest fraction of plant seeds following oil extraction and are used to replace green manure which is difficult to reconcile with the very tight cultivation cycles of more intensive horticultural systems. The plant cakes, present in high percentages, specifically allow a containment action against soil insects (knot-knot nematodes and virus vectors) thanks to their natural content of glucosinolates which generate volatile compounds with high biocidal activity, including isothiocyanates . The addition of iron then makes STYLNEM an organic fertilizer with a specific action. STYLNEM is a truly innovative product as it turns out to be the basic element for the proliferation of soil microflora, as regards the peculiar composition based on selected high quality materials specifically chosen to achieve certain purposes. Applied constantly to the soil, it is effective in the natural control of soil pathogens.
